Zach joined the team as a sub player for the 2016 Summer Hunde team. After that summer short season, TH leadership invited him, with team support, to stay on as a full time sub.

Zach brings a much needed speed element, as well as on-ice awareness to the team when he is called upon to play.
​
A native of the Saginaw, MI area, Zach has been playing hockey since 1992... working his way up through various skill levels of youth hockey.
​
From 2000-2002, Zach attended Western Michigan University, where he played hockey in the intramural league.
​
In 2005, after a few seasons off the ice, Zach picked up the skates again and hasn't looked back, playing in leagues In Lansing (MI), Bay City (MI) , and East Lansing (MI).
​
Hockey is something that runs deep in his family. He has played on teams with his brother, and his sister at various times in his career!
​
Off the Ice, Zach is an avid adventurer... His beloved Jeep and kayak get plenty of attention.
​
Zach works in the aviation industry as an Airport Planer for Mead and Hunt out of Lansing, where he is responsible for all aspects of airport planning, which include airfield design, terminals, hangars, support facilities, and financial planning. The industry has taken him, in various capacities, around Michigan and New Jersey, where he has received certifications in Weather Observing, Airport Fire fighting, and Emergency Dispatching.
